This Privacy Policy applies to all personal information collected by Unavin Pty Ltd via the website platform located at www.unavin.com.au.

What information do we collect?
The kind of personal information that we collect from you will depend on how you use the website. Our platform collects data depending on the type of user of the platform. The personal information which we collect and hold about you may include:
- Full name (for user identification for both Business users and Drivers)
- Residential / postal address (for Identification and document verification purposes)
- Phone number (for communication and 2-factor authentication)
- email address (to create a login and communication purposes)
- driver licence number, driver licence state, driver licence expiry date, driver licence card number (for document verification and authentication purposes)
- other details we collect related to the use of Unavin platform: geo-location, page usage statistics, IP address and other browser and device data.
How we collect your personal information
We collect personal information from you whenever you input such information into the website and platform. We collect driver licence details mentioned above in the process of Driver account and profile creation on the platform. We also provide services of Driver Licence verification against government datasets and collect Driver licence details for such service.
We also collect cookies from your computer which enable us to tell when you use the website and also to help customise your website experience. As a general rule, however, it is not possible to identify you personally from our use of cookies.
Purpose of collection
The purpose for which we collect personal information is to
- identify users on the platform
- verify documents
- provide you with services on our platform.
We customarily disclose personal information only to our service providers who assist us in operating the website and platform. Your personal information may also be exposed from time to time to maintenance and support personnel acting in the normal course of their duties.
Unavin will share your personal information with service providers and external data sources, including Official Record Holders via third party systems, to assist us to verify your identity in compliance with relevant laws. These third parties will assess the extent to which your information matches information in their databases and report the results to Unavin.
By using our website, you consent to the receipt of direct marketing material. We will only use your personal information for this purpose if we have collected such information direct from you, and if it is material of a type which you would reasonably expect to receive from us. We do not use sensitive personal information in direct marketing activity. Our direct marketing material will include a simple means by which you can request not to receive further communications of this nature.

All complaints will be considered by Kateryna Lepenicheva and we may seek further information from you to clarify your concerns. If we agree that your complaint is well founded, we will, in consultation with you, take appropriate steps to rectify the problem. If you remain dissatisfied with the outcome, you may refer the matter to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.

Overseas transfer
Your personal information will not be disclosed to recipients outside Australia unless you expressly request us to do so. If you request us to transfer your personal information to an overseas recipient, the overseas recipient will not be required to comply with the Australian Privacy Principles and we will not be liable for any mishandling of your information in such circumstances.
